Week 48 - 2024

👩🏼‍💻 New Assignments

Very pleased to announce a new colleague for Bouvet and Lambda 🥳! Sara Sørensen is a front-end developer with 3 1/2 years of experience in the industry. Sara currently works for Gaming Innovation Group, she lives in Spain and is now moving back to Stavanger. Sara will start with us in Lambda on February 1st, 2025.

I am also in dialogue with other candidates with good and relevant experience in software development, so if we are lucky, we will have more new colleagues at the beginning of the new year.

Lucija will start an assignment for the OTS delivery and will start already this coming Wednesday. Ole Anders continues in the SPTS team and he now has a project with funding, so he will be able to invoice the customer for hours. Very nice to see that now everyone in Lambda is now in active assignments!

📈 Economy

The numbers for October have arrived and Lambda's MFO is projected to be 15% for 2024. This is a good trend towards the goal for 2024, which is 17%. Whether we reach this based on November and December, I am unsure, but it will not be far off as our FG trend for the last 4 weeks are progressing in the right direction. Numbers and figures on our performance page are updated. Thank you for all your efforts in making this happen!

📊 Business Plans

Business plans are still being worked on, and I will share some of this at our meeting on December 10th, and I want you to provide input towards the team building in January. It is somewhat ambitious, where I want to see us reach 25 employees in 2025. This means we need to recruit 6-7 people during the coming year, as we two colleagues is leaving us (January and February). From experience, we know that recruiting so many is challenging, so we are entirely dependent on good tips of candidates. Bouvet will run a "tip"-campaign for internal tips, where the bonus for tips that leads to a new recuritment will increase significantly from todays level.
