👥 Unit Meeting¶

Our last unit meeting for 2024 is on December 10th. We are having a bit of extra socializing this time and will meet at Høydepunkt in Åsen. Remember to sign up in advance so that we can reserve the right amount of food and drink. - Link to event

☕️ Fagkaffe m/lunsj¶

Brage has created "events" for our "Fagkaffe". The first one is already tomorrow, November 1st. Feel free to sign up for these now so that you have them in your calendar! Link for tomorrows event.
We also rely on everyone contributing with various topics at the professional coffee, so please tip Brage if you have a topic you want to share at these events. There is a low threshold and high ceiling for discussing professional topics with each other!

Are we not curious enough about how AI can help developers in their daily work? Google reported that already now 1/4 of their code is generated by AI. Yesterday was day 2 of GitHub Universe (GitHub's conference), where they announced "GitHub Spark". Code generated from prompts - i.e., natural language. Exciting stuff. Link about this news.
GitHub Copilot can now also be your peer-reviewer for PRs. Link about this news

The market probably expects us to be curious about how we can use AI in our daily work to streamline the SDLC. Looking forward to many exciting discussions in the near future!
