Week 34 - 2024¶
🏝️ Bouvetøyafestivalen 2024!¶
It's almost time to head off to the Independence Celebration -24, aka. Bouvetøyafestivalen! It's going to be great to meet the big "Bouvet" family! Over 700 colleagues from the Stavanger office are joining! That's fantastic!
📝 Preps for the autumn¶
This week, I've spent most of my time getting to know you and the new leadership team (FO'et). This is to understand what's in focus for you, the leadership team, and my own leader. Besides getting familiar with the projects we're involved in, the types of deliveries, and customers, we also used some time to plan for the fall. Already now, we're starting to look a bit towards business plans for next year.
🧙🏻 "How to find the magic in technology?"¶
Among external events, there's one important for Bouvet - "How to Find the Magic in Technology?". This event is aimed at existing and potential customers. Feel free to share the event with people you think might be interested. We can also help register them and give them VIP tickets if they don't feel like signing up themselves.
📈 FG / SF for July is ready¶
July numbers are ready for us leaders to look into. Lambda performed well in July! FG was at 87.3%, and an important metric for me personally is SF (Sick Leave), which landed at 2.6% for July, which is good! Without healthy people, not much gets delivered.
📆 BU meeting - 27th August¶
We'll meet next week for a unit meeting. The agenda is short and sweet - we'll go through the "state of the union", have a bite to eat together, and have a professional part where this time we'll have an introduction to "What is AppSec?". Remember to sign up if you haven't already. Link to event
