Week 01-03 - 2025

2025 🚀 Happy New Year

We are well into 2025, and I am excited to see how this Bouvet year will unfold. The figures for 2024 are not yet finalized, but what we have seen so far looks promising. On February 18th, we will have the Q4 reporting for Bouvet, where we will get the final numbers. For this year, the ambition is to grow in Lambda, ideally to 25 consultants. Achieving this will require hard work, both in terms of recruitment and securing new assignments.

🫄🏽 People / Folk

As you may have noticed, I have sent everyone a recurring invitation for "close-up" conversations. I do this to ensure we have a regular slot where I can meet with you and have a chat. These conversations are very informal, and if the timing doesn't suit you on a particular day, it is easy for us to reschedule. It is valuable for me to meet with you regularly to hear how things are going and how the projects are progressing.

📊 Business / Forretning

On the business side, we have a couple of leads with Kolumbus and AkerBP. We visited Kolumbus in December and are now following up with potential offers and further processes. We also have a dialogue with AkerBP, which seems to be increasing some of its activities early in the year. I hope both of these will lead to something, as they specifically target the security focus in the unit.

🔐 NDC Security - Oslo

This week, some of us are also going to NDC Security in Oslo (Wednesday and Thursday). This conference is one of the larger ones in Norway, focusing on security in the development process. Our own Karyna has submitted a proposal for a talk and got it accepted, so she will be a speaker at the conference. It is great that Bouvet and λambda are on the speaker list! We will follow up with a "fagkaffe"-session where we share impressions from the conference afterward.

👬 Teambuilding - 2025

This week, we also have teambuilding! It is great that so many could join, and it will be good to gather at the beginning of the year.
