λambda - a business unit @ Bouvet Rogaland

λambda is a business unit and the home for front-end, back-end, fullstack -developers and application security (AppSec) engineers. We aim for a good balance between junior and senior competence and capacity. The unit reports to business area "Systemutvikling 2", region "Bouvet Rogaland".

Our focus is continously learning, whether that is a new programming language, framework,security or other technological topics. AppSec is a topic currently having a special focus in the business unit. In this area we mature, growing and push for a larger market presence, serving customer and teams with AppSec skills. However, we also use this initiative to increase AppSec skills and awareness among all developers.

Current customers are : Equinor, ConocoPhillips Norway, SFF/Vendor ICT and AkerBP.

Our ambition

λambda should be a unit that has multiple pillars to stand on, focus on consultants' companionship (samvær) and professional/personal development.

  • We should be good at knowledge sharing
  • Explore opportunities with artificial intelligence in the developer role
  • We should help our customers to become good orderers / manage expectations through our deliveries
  • We should be more visible in Bouvet, by sharing our competence
